Campeão Copa da Inglaterra: Manchester United surpreende e leva a taça

Manchester City e Manchester United se enfrentaram neste sábado (25), pela final da Copa da Inglaterra, a competição mais antiga do mundo do futebol. A partida ocorreu no lendário estádio de Wembley, tradicional estádio de Londres. No fim, melhor para o lado vermelho do duelo. Vitória do Manchester United por dois a um.

Garnacho e Mainoo fizeram os gols do United, ainda no primeiro tempo. Doku descontou no segundo tempo, mas nada que mudasse o cenário da partida. O time de Pep Gaurdiola pressionou muito, mas não conseguiu empatar o duelo.

Ao fim do jogo, muita festa para o United e o técnico Erik Ten Hag, que está ameaçado no campeonato.

O clássico colocou frente a frente duas equipes gigantes do futebol internacional, mas que viveram momentos diferentes. Enquanto o Manchester City venceu a Premier League mais uma vez, o United acabou apenas em oitavo, fora das competições europeias. Por isso mesmo era tão fundamental ganhar a Copa da Inglaterra, que dá vaga na Liga Europa.

Esse foi o 13º título do Manchester United, que só está atrás do Arsenal na condição de maior campeão.
